Barcelona is a top club in Europe with a recent history of success in modern football.  Barcelona’s security was put into test when the hackers took over the club’s Twitter page.

The twitter account that has over 31 million followers of the club on the micro-blogging platform was thrown into confusion. The hackers tweeted that the club has got a grip hold of things over the return of Neymar. Incredibly, doctored images of Neymar in a Barcelona shirt were also tweeted as well as #bartomeuout, likely concerning club president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

The account was later recovered and the pictures and tweets were later deleted, with the hackers leaving a stunning message for Barcelona on the need to improve the security of their accounts saying “this is the second time. The security level is better but not the best.”

The hackers’ group also went on to hack the official Olympics Twitter page, leaving some messages on the account before vanishing.

Meanwhile, Neymar departed Barcelona Club for Paris-Saint-Germain in search of new challenges for a world-record fee of £228 million The Brazilian star joined The Catalans in 2013 and departed 2017 after failing to be on the same page with Lionel Messi.

Neymar was supposed to make a comeback last season but due his massive money return to Barcelona was frustrated last summer, forcing the former Santos star to stay another season with the French league giants. Barcelona club is expected to pursue the deal that will see the Selecao forward return back to Camp Nou in the next summer.

Without a doubt, Barcelona Club is one of the top clubs in Spain having won most of the top competitions in recent times.
